"Miteta" en OPENstudio79

Invitar a un artista a OPENstudio79 se traduce en un subidón de energía y, en el caso de Candela, ilustradora de Miteta, supone también dibujar una gran sonrisa nuestras caras. Ayer colocamos algunas de sus obras en el estudio para preparar el espacio para su taller de ilustración del sábado.

To invite an artist to OPENstudio79 is always a boost of energy and in the case of Candela, the Illustrator of Miteta, it also means a smile on your face. Yesterday we displayed some of her work at my studio warming up the space for her Illustration Workshop on Saturday.

Para este taller Candela ha preparado un precioso kit en el que los asistentes encontrarán todo el material necesario para la clase. Dos proyectos de dibujo y color que se realizarán durante este taller tan especial, en el que nuestra artista invitada nos enseñará varias de las técnicas  y recursos que utilizan ilustradores profesionales.

For this occasion Candela has prepared a beautiful Workshop Kit, containing all the necessary material our participants will need for her class.  Two drawing and coloring projects will be done during this special workshop, where our invited artist will teach several techniques professional illustrator use.

Hasta el próximo fin de semana podréis ver y adquirir en OPENstudio79 algunos de sus trabajos aplicados en diferentes soportes, como camisetas, bolsas de tela o una serie limitada de pósteres y postales.

Until next weekend you will be able to see and purchase at OPENstudio79 part of her work applied on several material as cotton t-shirts, tote bags, limited series of digital prints or little postcards as souvenir. 

Mientras llega el taller... nosotras seguiremos inflando globos esperando en OPENStudio79 a todos aquellos que quieran conocer o ya admiren el trabajo de Candela. Por cierto, ¿os habéis fijado lo bien que queda su obra en nuestro mural de chalk paint? Creo que hacemos un buen equipo :)

In the meanwhile....we will keep on blowing balloons and waiting for anybody who wants to come by and admire her work at OPENstudio79. By the way, did you notice how well our chalk paint mural fits with her work? I think we are a great tandem :)
