Lost in the Milky Way is a yellow and cream stranded yarn, naturally dyed at Open Studio 79 in Mallorca.

This Chunky weight yarn is extremely soft and has lots of drape. The fiber has a bit of a hairy halo which makes it even more cozy looking and comfortable. It might pill a little bit at the beginning, but if you remove the pilling it will look as new. Perfect for a quick knit. You won’t get enough of holding this fiber in your hands while knitting or wearing it. Take into consideration that alpaca fiber has no memory and won’t bounce back if stretched when blocking.

• Suggested Needle size: 5.5 - 6.5 mm / US 9 - 10.5

• Hand wash at cool temperature. Dry flat out of direct sunshine

• Store yarn skein in a dark place until use. Natural colors may shift their color and intensity with time.

• Our yarns have been mordanted to improve light + wash fastness and have been carefully rinsed. It may happen though, that they stain the water slightly at the first wash or that you find some plant matter or flower petals floating around. No worries, this should not affect the final result of your hand knitted piece.
