When days get shorter is a stranded grey yarn with spots of dark green and rusty orange, naturally dyed with plants.

Softness and drape are two characteristics of this light fingering weight yarn. Perfect to knit shawls or a light sweater. Why not adding a fluffy mohair to it or combining it with other yarns in Fingering or Dk weight.

• 70% Baby Alpaca / 20% Silk / 10% Chasmere

• 100g - 400m

• Suggested Needle size: 2.5 - 4mm / US 1.5 - 6

• Hand wash at cool temperature. Dry flat out of direct sunshine

• Store yarn skein in a dark place until use. Natural colors may shift their color and intensity with time.

• Our yarns have been mordanted to improve light + wash fastness and have been carefully rinsed. It may happen though, that they stain the water slightly at the first wash or that you find some plant matter or flower petals floating around. No worries, this should not affect the final result of your hand knitted piece.
